We are back playing in front of Spectators from Saturday

This Saturday (5 December) we come out of Lockdown 2 to play our biggest cup-tie for some years.  It’s the 2nd round proper of the FA Vase and we make the trip to Sussex side AFC Uckfield Town. Kick-off is 3pm and a big travelling support would be appreciated by the management team and players. To get to this stage Guildford came through two tense penalty shoot-outs at Banstead Athletic and Abbey Rangers respectively, before defeating Tooting Bec 3-2 in an epic cup-tie. This is City’s best run in the FA Vase competition since 2010-11 when we reached the 4th round, going out in extra-time to Leiston.

We follow this match up with a league fixture at Egham Town on Tuesday 8 December. This is a rearranged date following the original match being abandoned through the injury to Devon Gordon.  This is followed up on Saturday 12 December with a local derby at Knaphill.  On Tuesday 15 December we have another away fixture. This time at Redhill in the Surrey Senior Cup.

Our next scheduled home match is on Saturday 19 December when we host Badshot Lea at the Spectrum.  Kick-off is 3pm and advance tickets are available online. Due to the backlog of games a further fixture may yet be added midweek in the week prior to Christmas.

Another date for the diary is our Christmas fixture on Monday 28 December.  We host at the Spectrum league front runners Sutton Common Rovers on what is a public holiday. The kick-off time is yet to be confirmed.
