Ian Plested caught up with first team manager Pete Ruggles after our narrow 2-1 defeat away vs Knaphill. Despite Knaphill having the majority of the possession it was City who struck first after a brilliant team move that saw Billy Nutbeam cross from the left to find Zeid Hannachi who headed in from close range. Knaphill came out in the second half pushing hard for the equaliser, hitting the post three times before scoring late on to level the game and then they added another shortly after to get the three points. The City boys worked tirelessly but in the end it wasn’t enough to get any points.
