Ian Plested caught up with manager Pete Ruggles after we exit the FA Vase in a 1-0 defeat to Erith Town. It was a first half that rather passed City by and the home side capitalised in the 31st minute. In the second half Ruggles’s men looked more adventurous, carving out some great opportunities to score but some brilliant last ditch defending denied us getting on the score sheet. City bow out of the FA Vase in the Second round but the last 45 minutes will give encouragement to the Sweeney.
