Ian Plested caught up with first team manager Pete Ruggles after our 3-0 defeat away to Corinthian. City exited the FA Cup after a dominant display by the step 4 side. City never got going in the game that saw the home side on the attack from the off. We were almost in level at half time despite the step 4 side having a number of chances missed or heroically saved by Stuart Norman, but in stoppage time Corinthian scored two goals. Although City performed better in the second half, calling their keeper into action a couple of times, it was the home side that scored the next goal and earned the victory into the next round.
