Yesterday saw City’s 2021/22 FA Cup journey come to end against a confident and high flying Walton & Hersham side. The home side struck in the 7th minute to knock the wind out of City’s sails but Barnes’s side continued to battle hard in search of an equaliser. A hard task became even harder when, in the 2nd half, Edson Da Silva saw red from a second yellow.
The 10 men of City gave everything infront of the 421 spectators but it was Walton & Hersham who scored next and deservedly moved into the next round.
