Ian Plested caught up with manager Tristan Rees after a much changed City side were defeated in extra time by Midhurst & Easebourne in the Aldershot Senior Cup. The away side started well scoring in only the 3rd minute and City never looked comfortable. Captain Antonio Simeone equalised in the second half, sending the tie into extra time. City keeper Michael McEntegart conceded a penalty in the early stages of ET and City never recovered. The away side grabbed another goal in the latter stages ending the match 3-1 to the step 6 side.
