New signings bolster defence

guildford-city-football-club-calor-league-action-photo-8Manager Dean Thomas has moved to plug a Guildford City defence that has leaked 11 goals in the last three matches. Scoring goals hasn’t been a problem with eight goals scored in the same period. It is clear though that for City to progress the defence has to be tightened and to that end the club are pleased to welcome Martin Dynan who is a commanding centre back who signs from Farnborough Town initially on dual registration. Martin is highly experienced and his former clubs include Three Bridges and Walton Casuals. Similarly we welcome fellow defender Harry Driver who joins us from Ashford Town (Middx), where he has featured regularly in recent seasons. Both players are expected to make their debuts at Chessington & Hook on Saturday.
