Manager’s End of Season Message

Firstly I hope everyone is keeping well and safe during these strange and difficult times.

I just wanted to jot down some thoughts on the past season. In truth it was a poor and really disappointing season which promised so much. We as a management team take responsibility for this. We just couldn’t generate any momentum, form or consistency. I’ve learnt so much about myself and the group of players and we are convinced we can put it right when it’s safe to do so.

I want to thank you all for your tireless support for the team. Again we built some good memories and also some not so good ones, but the togetherness of the club and the drive from everyone, on the pitch and off, to succeed  is as  high as it has ever been.  I want to thank all the players and my staff for last season and I can certainly say that I am itching to get back. To that end I can confirm I’ll be with the club next season and many more to follow I hope. As many of you know I’m a Guildford boy, and managing my hometown club is something I’m immensely proud of.
Finally I’d just like to say that in the next few days the club will be introducing its 100+ monthly draw. In these challenging times the club is looking at avenues to raise income and the 100+ draw is something our fans and expat fans dotted across the world can help us with. Please do watch out for details.

See you all soon.
Stay safe.
Chris
