Club Secretary Barry Underwood and club Facebook guru Ian Plested sat down recently to discuss Guildford City’s ups and downs over the last ten years or so.
Barry and Ian discussed the origin of the Sweeney nickname, and also the club song. They remembered in some detail the ups and downs of the Southern League seasons, and some of the players who featured during those years.
Probably best listened to in two halves, the podcast will be interesting to any non-league football fan, including those who have supported Guildford throughout this period.
