Guildford City has recently said goodbye to two strikers who have both given excellent serve to the club.
Austin Gacheru, top-scorer in the 2011/12 championship-winning season, has transferred to a more local side after moving to Kent. By all accounts he had a successful début for Chatham Town of the Isthmian League Division One North, playing an hour and setting up a goal in a 5-0 victory over Romford.
Long-serving Luke Bradnick, another popular face around Guildford City, moved to Combined Counties side Molesey late last year in order to find more regular, and closer, football. Luke had a knack for being in the right place at the right time, bagging a number of vital goals as part of the City side which won back-to-back league titles in 2010 and 2011.
Guildford City would like to thank both players for their excellent efforts while at the club, and wish them the best of luck in the future.
