Guildford City’s programme of pre-season games commenced on Saturday when fellow step 6 side Molesey were the visitors in a match played on the 3G pitch at Sheerwater. It was City fans first glimpse of Luke Simmond’s new look side in action. On a hot day and at this early stage there was plenty to admire. Harry Hennem, Luke Mitchell and Josh Bullen scored for City in a 3-1 win.
On Tuesday evening (7 July) City return to Sheerwater to play the home club in another friendly. Kick-off is 8pm. Then on Saturday 11 July we play our old friends Ash United on the 3G at Alderwood School, Aldershot.
