A lively but windy match on Bank Holiday Monday as City came from a goal down to earn a point on their travels.
Always lively up front, City could have taken all three points but were perhaps suffering from a hangover from Saturday’s FA Cup win over Three Bridges. Banstead took the lead in the 21st minute with a cracking goal from Luke Harmsworth (which the wind helped to deceive Antony Hall), and put pressure on City as they looked to extend their lead. Joel Hughes was bundled over in the penalty area on the half hour, with Joel Greaves converting the spot kick.
After this the visitors attacked more meaningfully with A’s keeper Dilley being well tested but not beaten.
