A GREAT NIGHT AT THE INAUGURAL GUILDFORD CITY SPORTS DINNER!

Last night saw Guildford City FC’s inaugural Sports Dinner with special guest Matt Le Tissier. Hosted by Nicky Banger at the Mandolay Hotel, Guildford, the event saw guests from various walks of life come together to raise funds for the Guildford City Foundation and Guildford City Women FC. Guests heard from key figures at the football club including Benson Miyoba (Women’s Head Coach), Adam Clark (Academy Manager), Tristan Rees (First Team Manager) and Warren Le Page (Chairman of Guildford City Boys & Girls FC).

CEO Brian Bloomfield commented:The Sports Evening was a resounding success with sponsors, club officials, supporters and team players throughout the club coming together to raise funds specifically at this event for our club foundation and women’s team.

The evening showed how the club has progressed over the last 6 months with key individuals taking the microphone to discuss what they were doing in their role at the club. What was encouraging was that the inclusivity of the club was on show for all to see and we hope to make this event an annual occurrence.

Take a look below through some of last nights photos from club photographer Paul Burgman.

We thank all guests for attending a historic night for the football club and for their hugely appreciated support. We hope to see you again soon!

This coming Saturday we travel to Redding Way as we face Knaphill in the league! Come and support Tristan Rees’s Sweeney!

This season we have announced our FOOTBALL FOR A FIVER scheme. Come and watch the Sweeney at the Spectrum for only £5!
