Windsor 2 – 1 Guildford City

Guildford City conceded two late goals as they fell to defeat at Combined Counties Premier Division runners-up Windsor. City took an early lead when Ryan Wallis bundled the ball home, and the opening minutes saw a flurry of chances for the visitors as they strived to show why they were deserving champions.  After this spell, however, the match turned somewhat more languid, with Windsor enjoying plenty of possession but not creating any clear chances. It took until the 78th minute for the hosts to break down the City defence when Ryan O’Toole converted a penalty. Five minutes later Michael Chennells netted at the second attempt to claim all three points for the hosts in what was, in all honesty, a lacklustre match in which neither side showed the quality they are capable of.
