Ian Plested caught up with first team manager Pete Ruggles and keeper Stuart Norman after our 3-2 victory away to Raynes Park Vale in what was a brilliant fightback from City! From 2 goals down, the Sweeney fans thought the worst but with our first shot on target, from Enow Ojong, we started our comeback! Ojong secured his second when he was sent through on goal and fired it low past the oncoming keeper.
It was a more confident half from City who looked dangerous on the counter but it was from a set piece corner that found the head of defender Lloyd Connelly that put us into the lead. There was still a long time on the clock but City defended with heart & determination and secured the three points. A brilliant win that did the travelling Sweeney fans proud.
