Next up: On the road as Sweeney travel to Camberley in league action

Guildford City are back in action as we travel to Camberley Town FC this weekend in CCFL action.

We are looking to pick up some points after a promising start to the season have now seen us looking to avoid a fourth straight defeat this Saturday.

Despite this The Sweeney have played some good football creating some good chances in previous weeks even though the score lines say otherwise.

Guildford go into this game without Mikey Coppinger who is suspended for one more game after picking up a red card in our defeat to Knaphill.

However on a positive note Guildford can look forward to seeing defender Jake Heighes in action as he joins us from neighbours Sheerwater. He will look to add experience to the backline.

Details of this fixture can be found below:

Stadium:

Krooner Park. Which can be found at postcode GU15 2QW

Kick off:

This game kicks off at 2pm on Saturday 4th November

Admission prices:

Adults – £8

Concessions – £5

U12 – Free

Our opponents:

Camberley are looking to climb the table as they haven’t won in the league since early September are will be looking to put things right against Guildford this weekend.

The Krooners sit 17th in the table just above the drop zone with results needing to pick up for them to get up the table.

However despite their league position they do have three games in hand on Guildford meaning should they win they can close the gap.

This fixture hasn’t been the best in recent years but the corresponding match last year ended in a 2-1 City win courtesy of a late, late goal.

Let’s hope the Sweeney get behind the boys and cheer them to victory!
