Despite the 20/21 season yet to have a start date pre-season training started yesterday evening for Chris Balchin and his squad. With the pandemic putting a stop to the clubs annual end of season awards it fell to last nights socially distanced session to present the Player of the Season award to defender Sean Mason.
Sean has been a Sweeney fans favourite since making his debut in August 2018. The defender has made 71 appearances in City colours scoring one goal. This is the second consecutive year that Sean has picked up the player of the season award showing both his talent and popularity.
Sean Mason has also been made Vice-Captain for the upcoming season, with Theo Woodhouse remaining Club Captain.
