Guildford City dropped points for the second successive match after being frustrated by Raynes Park Vale. Any suggestion that the home side would stroll to victory vanished when Mosley gave the visitors a 28th minute lead, in a game of few chances. With City controlling possession but doing little with it, due in part to the stifling Vale defence, it took a strike from Jack Guilford to level matters in the 61st minute. The hosts couldn’t find a way through again however, with Greaves failing to convert after finding space in front of goal.
