Croydon 1 – 1 Guildford City

Austin Gacheru scored a goal on his brithday as Guildford City were held to a draw at Croydon.  The hosts went ahead through George Gledhill on 34 minutes before Gacheru netted his sixth goal in six appearances shortly before the break – thanks in part to a goalkeeping error.  The visitors applied some pressure at the end of the second half but were unable to find a breakthrough.  The match ended in controversy as City’s Luke Bradnick saw the referee blow for full-time as his shot flew into the net.
