Farnham Town vs Guildford City: Match Preview

Support City at the Hog’s Back Derby

On Saturday Guildford City make the short journey to the Memorial Ground, Farnham to face a home side without a manager and battling to avoid the drop. For that reason alone Farnham can be expected to give everything in their battle to pick up some points. Farnham have already beaten City this season by winning 3-2 at the Spectrum in October. Last week City made heavy weather of beating another relegation candidate Epsom & Ewell, and they will have to step up several gears on Saturday to pick up the points.

As ever the City players value the away support and supporters are urged to make the short journey to get behind the lads. For those driving we are advised by Farnham Town that parking is available in the Millennium Centre car park which is adjacent to the Memorial Hall building site. For sat nav purposes the car park post code is GU9 7XX.

After Saturday Guildford City will next be in action on Tuesday 17 April when we make the equally short journey to Knaphill for a 7.30pm kick-off.

Finally a date for the diary. The club’s annual presentation evening at the City Club takes place on Saturday 28 April at 7.30pm. Entry on the door is £5 which includes a buffet.
