Guildford City welcome Bedfont Sports to the Spectrum tomorrow (Saturday) for a Combined Counties League Premier division clash, kick-off 3pm.
Manager Dean Thomas is keen to get his side back into action after recent postponements against Redhill and Westfield. City are on a four match unbeaten run and are looking to kick on up the table in the second half of the season. Manager Thomas welcomes striker Matt Anton back to the squad after a brief spell away, and Anton is expected to link up with target man striker Connor French. Club skipper Harry Driver is expected to feature against one of his previous clubs, whilst player/assistant manager Martin Dynan and ex- Farnborough star Darryl Siaw renew their former Walton Casuals partnership in the centre of defence. New signing David Koduah, a former Walton & Hersham winger, is likely to feature at some stage during the match.
Attendances at our last two home matches have been disappointing, and we do urge the people of Guildford to get behind the lads. Dean Thomas and Martin Dynan are building a young and exciting side who deserve our support. Entrance is £7 adults, £4 concessions and £1 juniors and it would be great to see you there. Hot and cold food is available, and there is a licensed bar selling amongst other things bottled ales.
Finally fixture news. Rearranged dates have been announced for the following games: Tuesday 1 March Redhill (A), Thursday 10 March Westfield (A), Wednesday 23 March Hartley Wintney (H).
