Guildford City host local rivals Chertsey Town on ‘non league day’ the 6th of September at the Spectrum. There is no other football on (that’s worth watching anyway) so get yourself down to the Spectrum for what should be a great afternoon.
Firstly Guildford City will be unveiling the brand new home kit (by team-tops)for the 2014-15 season, complete with our charity partners logo on the back of the shirt. Our charity this year is the halow project, a brilliant Guildford based charity that helps young adults with learning difficulties, to live independent lives. The halow project mascot will also be making appearance on the day, in his very own Guildford City Football kit.
On the day, we shall be expecting some local dignitaries, including the Mayor of Guildford, a number of our youth team members, guests & clients & trustees of the halow project, and hopefully a number of our sponsors & advertisers, as well as the committee members of the club.
A full itinerary will be published nearer the time, but after the match we shall retire to the Guildford City Club, 73 Joseph’s Road, Guildford (the spiritual home of Guildford City FC) for drinks and a BBQ complete with music & lights.
So we look forward to welcoming everyone to the Spectrum.
