Guildford City 2 – 0 Colliers Wood United

Guildford City left it late to secure three points against Colliers Wood United.  The hosts were well on top during the first half – hitting the woodwork twice amongst numerous opportunities – but laboured through a scrappy second half.  The defence was still kept on its toes, with Corey Holder producing a couple of well timed tackled to deny quick Colliers Wood breaks.  With a draw looming, Jack Guilford rose to head home in the 81st minute before Austin Gacheru’s excellent individual effort two minutes before full-time sealed victory for the league leaders.

Guildford City:
Antony Hall, Elvis Defreitas (Tom Penson 81), Ben Rayner, Simon Cooper [capt], Will Heavey, Corey Holder, Dan Moody, Ben Camara, Jack Guilford (Martin Debrah 84), Joel Hughes (Austin gacheru 61), Jaydon Gibbs.
Unused substitutes: Luke Bradnick, Michael Hall
Cautioned: Dan Moody, Jack Guilford, Austin Gacheru
