City’s third game in four days ended in defeat at the hands of second placed Molesey in an intriguing battle in south London. A strong side took to the field but Simon Cooper was substituted through injury in the first half. Shortly before half time, Molesey took the lead thanks to a goal from Lodge. Joel Greaves levelled minutes later but Molesey retook the lead almost immediately through the same player to go in 2-1 up at the break. Ben Camara’s goal early in the second half put City on level terms once more, and the hosts were then reduced to ten men. However, a late goal from Sam Lampard gave Molesey victory.
